Weddings

I offer an alternative to traditional wedding photography. It's done exclusively in black & white, a bit artsy, and documentary in style. The day is captured from start to finish while gathering images which represent an unaltered view of the day's activities. I start long before any church bells ring...and usually end up alone with the couple at the end of the evening for a final shot. There is very little, if any, posing that is done. My strength is in blending in so well that I often feel like (and am thought of as) a second cousin with a camera. It's not unusual for me to give the groom a ride to pick up the marriage license....carry presents after the reception...or just be a calming influence when nervousness sets in (all at no extra charge, of course!). The basic package includes a complete set of 8"x10" contact sheets (proofs) and 20 custom-made, full-frame prints with rough black borders....in either 8"x10" or 11"x14" sizes.
